1985 - Foundation of VFG by our founder Chairman & Managing Director Mr.T.V.Shrinivas.

1985 - Vendor registration at ICF

1990 - Started Manufacturing FRP component for Paper & Chemical industries.

1996 - Started Manufacturing Wind Turbine FRP Components for Vestas – RRB, Pioneer Wincon.

2000 - VFG adopted ISO Quality Management System and got certified by Perry Johnson.

2007 - VFG received M/s.Regen Powertech on board of customers and developed their 1.5 MW wind turbine nacelle

cover and spinner from stage of developing pattern, mould and production.

2009 - M/s.Gamesa Wind Turbines Pvt. Ltd. approved us as FRP component supplier for their Indian counterpart.

2010 - M/s.Gamesa awarded order for G5X 850 kW turbine nacelle order.

2011 - VFG Commenced 2nd state of the art manufacturing unit in Chennai.

M/s. Gamesa awarded order for G9X 2 MW turbine nacelle order.

VFG got certified for ISO 9001-2008, 14001-2004 & OHSAS 18001-2007 by URS.

2012 -VFG complete bench mark of supply more than 2000 wind turbine nacelle cover and 1800

nose cone spinner for the Indian wind Turbine Industry.

2013 - VFG developed 3 MW FRP Nose cone spinner for M/s.Regen Powertech.

The Integral management system including Quality Management System, Environmental

Management System, Occupational Health and Safety implemented at VFG Unit I & II on

2016 - VFG commenced the Third Plant at Mamandur, biggest amongst all the plants and started Nacelle production

2017 -M/s. Acciona Wind energy awarded order for AW3000 to VFG

2018 -VFG was considered approved supplier for supplies of FRP Modular toilet for ICF.

VFG started direct Exports to OEM’s

2019 -VFG achieved supply records of Modular toilets more than 600 coaches.

VFG kicked off TQM implementation
